Smittybilt 2780 compressor

This is the lowest that I have seen it at $95.73. I have this same compressor and used it on our Death Valley trip and it aired up each 31" tire from 18psi to 30 in about a minute each tire. I purchased mine for $116 which I thought was a good deal but this is even better.

Do not buy these. I bought these in may of last year and the batteries would die fast and had many that leaked. Most of the unused batteries are dead now too. I would venture to say they are fakes.

 

Is the prime credit card worth it?

 

While there is no price on safety, I was looking at this too and it looked like it’s lowest price was about 20. It might be worth waiting till BF and see if the price drops. Unless you’re concerned about fire, safety and escape plans, then definitely don’t the listen to me lol

It's only if you get a new card, when I got mine they gave you $100 gift card just for signing up.

 

There's also some special where you get 60 bucks back when you pay with card points. Wouldn't make sense for that to be it and yet it's misleading enough that it could very well be.

 

If you use Amazon the credit card is worth it. You get %5 back in points on everything on Amazon. No annual fee. Most people use the points to buy things on Amazon, you shouldn't do this. You should always use the points to get cash back on your card, and then purchase something.

 

I was debating on this vs Costco

 

That will probably be my next store card. You get all of your rewards after the end of the year like the executive rebate though I believe.

 

I also have this one. It's not bad. Saved me a bit on my first Costco purchase. Jury's still out on how good it is as I haven't hit my first year yet.

This is correct.

I prefer the Amazon card so far. It's more useful and, with points being available at the end of each statement, more accessible. But maybe I end up getting a boatload of points from the Costco card when I hit a year.

 

I almost signed up for one before ordering appliances last month but I already picked up a Lowes card recently. At 2% cash back it would have been $74 on $3700 purchase. I think the real benefit comes in on the extended warranties and gas if you drive a lot since gas is 4% back.

 

I have the Costco Visa. We put everything on it and earn enough back from Costco to pay for the membership and then some and also get a decent check from Visa.
