    Key phrase underlined. Easy fix, the staff can just "approve" him to post his links which, clearly, benefit a lot of users. If it makes everyone feel better he could include a disclaimer with each link he posts that states he does receive a small referral reward and that the staff approved him to post such links.

    Perhaps the staff should create a poll asking the question, "Should the Staff of TW give special approval to @boogie3478 to post Amazon Affiliate Links?"

    Run the poll for a week, then make a decision based on the poll results.
