Hey y’all, I bought one of the Amazon skid plates that look like the TRD version. Like most of the reveiws I didn’t receive any instructions with it and I’m missing the rear 2 bolts. I’ve got it hung by the front 4 bolts. But I have no idea what size bolts/pitch count are used in the rear. Any help would be appreciated. -Kenny-

Did you try the front bolts to see if they fit in the rear? Assuming they'd be the same size, you could get them at any hardware store.

Also, did you contact Amazon? They're usually pretty darn good at returning stuff.

    Thank you!

No haven’t contacted Amazon, had everything else in the package. Figure I’ll just leave a review and go buy some bolts. Hardware store is just right around the corner.

Paying less than for real TRD Pro skid, needing to buy my own spacers and bolts, guessing the spacer thickness. Some things, for me, are worth paying for.

Yeah, pretty sure on my knock off one, you use the stock small bolts in the rear. Big spacer goes in the middle, smalller spacer goes in the very front.

I installed some Bilstein 5100’s yesterday with an Icon add a leaf. I removed the factory skid plate while I was working, then got interrupted by the kids and night time routine. Pretty sure the factory rear skid plate bolts ended up in the trash truck this morning with all the other boxes and trash I put on the curb. I couldn’t for the life of me find them in my garage. Overall pretty satisfied with the skid plate. I definitely wouldn’t have tried to install it without the spacers. Thankfully they were in the box.

Lots of folks over torque the mounting bolts and end up with a major headache when the tack welded nuts in the frame break loose. My skid has been on the truck for 5 years at 30 foot pounds.
