I’ve installed a wide variety of Amazon LED bars and pods on my side x side, boat, and various other vehicles (family / friends). The quality of those lights are obviously cheap, but you get what you pay for. Plus, they serve their purpose of producing light when needed at a much lower cost.
Rigid on the other hand, serves the same purpose but produces much more light at a higher cost. Not to mention, the quality of Rigid lights is substantially greater than that of it’s Amazon counterparts.
When choosing LEDs for my Tacoma, I decided to go with product quality over economy. I didn’t choose a cheaper brand truck, so why put cheaper brand lights on it?
    That’s my insight.

Although not a light bar, I have 2 flush mount led pods from Amazon in my aftermarket bumper. No issues at all and they certainly are exposed to all sorts of moisture and spray where they are mounted.

Id be interested in replacing my incandescent fog/driving lights with LED ones. And not just the bulbs, thats a bad idea. Does anybody make such an animal?

I have used a few Auxbeam bars from Amazon and I like them. I do reseal them before mounting though just for piece of mind. Right now I have a 42 inch X-series, a 32 inch, pods, and flush mounts. No issues with any of them. That being said, a set of Baja Designs pods are brighter than all of my lights combined. Will be changing out my fogs with squadron pros soon.

The OPT7 ones on Amazon seem to be great. I have had my 32” for about a year or so and it’s awesome. No issues at all. My fog lights are also OPT7 and no issues on those as well.

I just got a 40” led light bar from Secert Santa and I’m sure it’s a Amazon light bar. I like it a lot. How is everyone resealing their light bar? I have some clear silicone laying around. Thanks

I'm a fan of Aurora LEDs. I've had mine on my truck for a while now and they are holding up nicely.

Rigid makes a bracket for installing LED pods in your fog light openings. I installed those along with 2 Rigid Radiance LED pods.
However, I wouldn’t suggest installing super bright LEDs in your fog lights if you plan on using them with your low beams. Other driver’s won’t be as fond of them as you would be.
My low beams were bright enough, so I ran my 4 pods (ditch / fog lights) and bar to my high beams.

Thats cool, but sorry...dont like the look of a square light in a round hole.

My fogs (not shown in the schematic) and light bar are relayed to separate dash switches off the parking light tap, while the Hella 500s come on with the brights.

My light bar is too bright for even high beams.

Technically, Im breaking the law if I have the fogs on when I bright. Ohio says only 4 lights may be one at any given time. Easy fix (as described in the schematic) just havent done it.

Lights can never be “too bright”. I only use my high beams when off-road or alone on the road, so the more light the better!
What kind of Rigid bar do you have?

take a look at the baja designs squadron ones, or the xl. both are stupid bright, with a even stupider brighter option. both are round also so will look good on the car. have a lifetime warranty, and are user serviceable.
