Amazon locker?

What is this all about? It's outside a 7-11

 

New form of P.O. box?

 

They use them for pickup and returns. That way if your order something expensive you know it's secure. Also saves them delivery costs.

If you choose to pick up from it, they email you code to unlock your locker when it is delivered there. Same for returns, you pick the location and they give you a code to open the locker and place the item inside.

 

Googled it, just a pick-up and drop off location you can choose to use. Might be helpful for returns

 

I love them. So useful for those who live in a apartment

 

I used this the other day. So convenient and easy. Free next day pick up too!

I ordered a new router sat night at 9pm and picked it up Sunday at 11am on the corner of my major streets.

Now that's expedited!

I initially thought this was going to be a thread on some locker for our trucks Amazon happened to stock.

I've never seen em.
Not as cool as flying drones dropping off your packages at your front door, but still pretty cool.

 

I haven't even seen one of these until now. my wife and I have become friends with our fedex and usps delivery drivers because they come to the house so much. when you buy something does it give you an option for the box if your around one or do I have to make that my dropoff address? just curious

I can imagine people getting jacked...

 

I had a mail theft problem and these lockers are useful. Particularly for returns. I will wait until I have another package arrive then reserve a locker for my return at the same location.
