Maybe want to verify that this grill accepts the TSS sensor. I see that the add specifies 16 - 19. But I think that there are two variants available. (w/TSS and wo/TSS)

    Just my $0.02

Good idea!! I didn’t think of verifying that just assuming by the picture that it would has TSS mountings.

Where would be the best spot to tap in the grill lights to the trucks lights for power? Or safer to run a different feed?

Meso Customs (on this forum) has a plug and play kit. They are more expensive than DIY. If you want to DIY, just to play it safe, I would have to recommend using a relay. Use battery power to actually supply the lights. And tap an accessory circuit (or a switch) to trigger the relay.

I hae some info that you might be interested in... NOT all grilles are the same even though they look the same from the ads/pictures that online retailers post. I have a video showing you some of those differences, newer tacos need the radar "garnish" and that Amazon one doesnt have it. We have both kinds available on our site and a ton of happy customers here on TW.
Here is another thread with info and the video I was talking about.
