Im in the market for a oem style roof rack. One that actually will be put to use. That one is on Amazon looks good and is supposed to hold more weight then the oem one. I need a roof rack to haul paddle boards/ kayaks(125lbs total ) on travel trips(1000plus miles one way)

    anyone install one of those?

its between oem style or a bed rack that works with my softtopper.

I'm also looking for them but I hear I have to drill and I heard many horror stories of water getting in.

To prevent water getting in make sure to use a ton of silicone at each screw hole before and after installing. This seemed to work fine when I had mine installed. However, these OEM style roof racks are the plastic kind and just don't feel very solid or hold very much weight. I uninstalled mine after a while and would probably go with a metal one in the future
