still carrying ($60?) Amazon traction boards, maybe xbull or something.
Last time I got stuck in snow, simply ended up using a regular shovel.
Maxtrax would be nice to stack better and take up less space in the bed, but probably not gonna drop $300 for plastic...

MaxTrax are fiber reinforced nylon (like cordless power tool bodies) and remain flexible and strong in all temps as well as you can double them up and use them for bridging and ramping.

All other traction boards I have seen are your standard array of basic brittle injection molded plastics. There may be some out there that have some fiber reinforcement or that claim they can be doubled up and used as a bridge or ramp but I haven't seen them.

That said I've found my traction boards (MaxTrax) to be only somewhat useful at best. I think a high lift jack a shovel some shackles and a rope are more effective unstucking tools for the same cost.

Hard to believe X-Bulls are going for $125+ these days. I think I gave $50 for mine a couple of years ago and that included shipping. Guess I should've gotten 2 sets back then.

I have the xbull boards and they have done the job. only thing I think kinda is a pain about them is that they dont stack super great, they take a lot of room compared to something like maxtrax
