    I live on the western slope of Colorado, and it does snow here each winter, but I don't drive on it ;) . The most I've seen in any one storm is about 8 inches, and the longest it lasted on the ground (where I live) was from early December to early February. So far this year I've seen no snow, and no rain for months...
