Welcome! There are a ton of fog options, but only 2 amber ones. KC G4 amber and Morimoto amber. You can see both linked at the top of the fog thread below. The KC G4’s offer a larger pattern area and what I would go with if set on amber.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/

However, amber isn’t a great color. Selective yellow is much higher performing, it is far brighter and offers better contrast while still having the benefits of long wavelength light in poor weather.

Umm what? I didn’t design any new suspension. I used Toyota’s designed Baja suspension which is the most aggressive suspension offered on a Tacoma paired with a progressive AAL.

Definitely not. The multi color LEDs have the chips off center and produce the worst kind of glare. It is not possible for that design to work. I’ve evaluated those products. Bulbs should never be adjustable or rotatable either. If they told you those are J583 compliant they flat out lied. That company does not understand automotive lighting at all.

Thanks for the explanation! I saw your post and it is quite informative. I see it as difficult to utilize those fogs without retrofitting them to the OEM bumper. I do however see them being extremely applicable to aftermarket bumpers. I strongly believe 90% of users would be better off with halogens

Ah yes, in the 05-11 there are limited options! Halogens are fine too, though the 05-11 has pretty weak bulbs. Diode Dynamics is releasing a 05-11 kit soon, and they just released some awesome fogs that are very reasonably priced for their performance.

The only thing I hate about the 05-11. The newer gens have great fog light options and I am always jelly of the support they receive from companies like rigid with their custom housings. All is well though as my bumper wont be installed for long... Really looking forward to running 3 sets of high quality spot/flood combos and a decent fog light.

I’ve been running these for years. Great price an color and very bright. Just make sure to put plenty of dielectric grease as they run hot.

I can vouch for this. Currently have LED bulbs that I borrowed from my bro in my stock headlight housing. We tested them in a 2000 Honda CR-V, 1994 Civic, and now it's in my Tacoma. My bro got them for cheap or maybe even for free. In the 3 vehicles we tested, halogen was always better.

Can't attest to them yet but I just purchased the Diode Dynamics SS3 Sports in yellow. Waiting patiently for them to arrive. From my personal research they seemed to be a great option compared to the competition. (Google research that is...)
