My electrical knowledge is relatively limited, but I have dug around the internet some to find that the lights I purchased will most likely need a momentary switch to utilize the amber function. My original plan was to wire 2 on each side of my RSI Smartcap and have each side independent. My plan is to also utilize the smaller passenger side cubby in the bed of the truck to mount this 5 gang panel. Sounds like if I replace two of the rocker switches with momentary, that will make both sides functional (amber and white) and leave me with one open switch for my air compressor or whatever else.

Does anyone have any constructive criticism on this plan?

the red and yellow should be your switched power for the white and amber lights one wire for each color. normally if you use a momentary switch you will only get whatever function is switched while pressing the button, what brand are your lights or can you upload the wiring diagram that was included with the lights

Unfortunately there is no diagram. From what I read, the momentary switch would basically act as a toggle to switch from amber to white. To your point though, having them on two independent rockers would give me the option to have both on at once.... so many lummmmmmens

Now that I looked in my Amazon purchases, I see that I bought a wiring harness for this exact light. Totally forgot since I ordered these almost two years ago for a different project.

Thats a trip... would not have expected that. I will hook mine up to a battery and see for myself. If thats the case I think it should work out fine running on two rocker switches. Appreciate the help!
