    If you have something in writing call the local PD. They can do a civil standby while you exchange. If she refuses to show, they can do what is necessary to make it happen.

    However, that could end up being a little traumatic to the little one so if you'd rather wait and let the attorneys handle it, I completely understand.

    While what we talked about via text is awesome, this is obviously the downside to the arrangement. I'm sorry you're having to go through this. While I don't know firsthand how it is, I saw my brother go through it with his first wife. Thankfully his daughter was mature and smart enough to not let it get to her and if your daughter is anything like I think she is, she will be just fine and will completely understand as soon as she is old enough.
