    called me in to tell me "It's too high. These springs are too heavy, even 500 lbs wont engage them.
    you'll also get no flex out of them. they're way too stiff.
    you should have gone with shackles and blocks instead. They give a way better ride!"

    theyre talking about AP expos...they tried to explain to me that the new shackles I was putting on were "longer than stock"...No shit!

    then they called me saying the leaf packs rub the exhaust pipe, so I told them to cut it...they said they cant

    I said ok. I'll cut them later

    then the mech called back saying he thinks it looks "stupid, because the rear is so high" and explained that he has a "2007 TRD Tacoma" and he's scared to drive it stock, and that mine willl be dangerous



    for fucks sake.

    so they swapped my shackles back to stock and left the packs on...theyre saying it's illegal to cut the tailpipe and they wont safety check it.

    I fucking hate dealing with shops.

    Wow I'd definitely do it myself. Or at least try. Lol. I see now that most stuff that gets paid for at shops I can do myself with help of tw and YouTube. And if I can't I have friends and family that can.
