    Did you test drive it?
    The tc's are peppy but coming from a urd blown taco...

    Of course I test drove it.

    Well, stock the tC is 180 hp, the Release series 8.0 has a whopping 183 due to its custom TRD exhaust. More importantly it lowers the powerband by a couple hundred RPMs. Using tips and tricks I learned from my Xrunner I can pop that to over 210ish for not even 250$. Lowering the powerband even more. + It's a torquey little engine. A lot of car for a damn cheap price.

    My friend just traded his celica for a tc, let me drive both
    Driving turny roads in peppy cars like that is almost as fun as wheeling...:spy:

    I estimate 335-340~ HP based off what I've seen on other guys build on Xru.com.

    Turning in MY tC will be even better with the TRD Performance suspension the limited edition comes with ;)

    lol of course I will, the TRD performance mechanic at the dealership said TRD's coming out with one for the tC's in the next year or so :spy:

    Well, I'm going to be seeing different NA tweaks + using lighter weight parts. I'm trying to find out the Weight of the custom wheels on the RS 8.0 versus stock. Lighter wheels = more power to ground. It's all about freeing up the little things.

    Also, thinking of taking the dive on a prototype-ish spot. Remember those Pulstar Spark plugs? They've been on the market since '09. I heard about them way back when and didn't buy them, waiting for the tech to prove themselves. Now 3 years later they have quite the cult following.

    And if I can Dyno prove it works on the tC. Then it'll work on the Taco ;)
