My buddy has 10 exotic guns besides the usual hunting weapons and his wife actually says he needs more. Crazy if you ask me.

Define best? A more expensive rifle can shoot more accurately but you couldn't use it to drive in a fence post or play a game of slow pitch like you could with an SKS.

    Cheap like borsch! Do it!

Best being a top-of-the-line brand that is highly sought after but not cheap.

Take my computers for example. I had a decent macbook pro that was only 2 years old and did everything I needed. Paid $1800 new, sold for $750 to buy another brand new macbook pro after the quad core processor came out (impulsive). I upgraded it literally as much as possible on apple's site, solid state hard drive and all. Almost double the price of my old one. Now I'm throwing around the idea of selling this one (1.5 years old) and getting the retina 15". That would be another $3000+.

That's because Apple is really good at convincing you to pay for overpriced shit that you don't need at all. Fact, for anything less than 27 inches, your eye cannot see anything higher than a resolution of 720p, retina display is just a fancy marketing ploy to make fanboys give up more of their money.

So tried true and trusted isn't considered the best?

Why do you own a Tacoma and not the Eco-Boost. It's the best top of the line and highly sought after.

    Bingo.

Put my 13" MacBook Pro (model before the Retina was added) next to a Retina version and you cannot tell the difference.

    NO NO NOT TRUE!

The 3000 microerstaz display is WAY better than the 1500 microersatz display. It is obvious because the number is bigger. Bigger numbers are always better.

I heard the screen is going to be smaller than the original iPhone and you will need an ocular implant to see it. Microscreens and implants will be the new thing. You have to buy the implant separately, but you can pick your favorite color.

Usually tried and true is the most well-known brands that aren't cheap Chinese junk. Like dewalt, snap on, Samsung, whirlpool, etc. None of which are inexpensive compared with products.

Most things I buy are also based on reliability. Toyota because they are known for reliability. MacBooks because they don't get viruses and need cleaned every year, aluminum case, lightweight, backlit keyboard. Honda mini bikes because they never die and parts can still be had.

Why I don't have an eco-boost? Simple. Money. If I had money to blow maybe I would buy one to test it out. It's not known to be reliable technology right now so I wouldn't drop every dollar I have on it hoping it's everything I ever dreamed of. I already know my Tacoma is.

Was just reading CGN at lunch on my phone. Good deal apparently on an SKS and 1200 rounds of non corrosive ammo @ Canada Ammo (out of stock now, but getting more in a few weeks). I beleive they are Chinese though, Id prefer to have a Russian one.

Russian SKS isn't cheap chinese. The Cheap chinese is the cheap chinese. Just gotta know what you're buying.

In stock. Cheaper. However it's old Com Bloc ammo. So gonna have to clean it far more. However the Chinese guns come with a Chrome Moly barrel. So they have far more corrosion protection. That being said, I've heard the build on the Russian ones are far far better.
I've seen the stocks on both and the Russian ones are beautiful. The Chinese ones look really really cheap and almost plasticy.

I hate the corrosive ammo. I shot a crate of it through my CZ, and quickly switched to non-corrosive after that. Cleaning it is a real PITA. My buddy has a Russian SKS and its pretty nice.. probably wont be getting one any time soon though (still waiting on my PWS).

On another note, Baldurs Gate Enhanced is being released today for $20.00. May have to d/l to pass some time.
