    I've seen a barefoot biker. He was a lakeside dock attendant so he would only have on board shorts when he rode to and from work.

    I think if i get a road bike it'll be a cool low and slow cruizer type thing. Dirt hurts alot less than pavement.

    It depends. They have gotten a lot better in terms of fit, finish, and reliability in recent years. Since I'm 6'5'' the harley riding position fits me a lot better than a crotch rocket. I'm not against other bikes but I would take the harley due to personal comfort and badass noise.

    Yup, anyone here into deisel mechanics? One day i'd like to drag an old abandoned dozer out of the woods and restore it maybe as a retirement project. That would be pretty sweet.

    Me me me! I do some diesel stuff. One day I might even do some more school for it. Easy to work on if you take the time. Easy to mess up bad on too. Tight tolerances and high compression.

    Sorry, but Harleys sound like shit too. Very loud, with a blat sound instead of a crisp clean pop. That is the difference between a performance twin vs a Harley twin. If you want to hear what a real twin should sound like I can enlighten you, or just go listen to a ducati. I don't buy the "I'm too tall for a crotch rocket". I'm just as tall as you and that is what I ride.

    I don't know why I'm arguing about it because
    1. a ducati does sound good and they are sexy bikes
    2. I'm not "too tall" for a crotch rocket, I don't like the feel as much
    3. everyone has a certain preference on bike style, size, sound, riding position, etc. Hence the reason harleys and ducatis and hondas and suzukis and yamahas and victorys are still for sale.
    4. It's not what you ride, it's that you ride.
