    Yes I was fricken livid. Foreman got 2 messages and the builder got one as well.

    no vapor barrier inside. That is on the outside with the envirodri. If you put a vapor barrier up then you trap any moisture between the 2 and you get mold.

    This method has me even more intrigued now , how do you seal around windows , doors , wall penetrations like hose bibs and plugs ?

    How does it tie into the vapour barrier for the ceiling / attic ?

    They use spray foam around the windows, doors and other penetrations. I believe they do put up a plastic on the ceiling for a vapor barrier.

    I looked at the spec for that product on it's website and the perm rating is similar to that of housewrap , which is too permeable to be considered a vapour barrier ( at least in the BC code ) , also , the general rule of thumb in a warming climate ( where you predominantly need to heat the house rather than cool it ) is that the vapour barrier goes on the warm side of batt insulation

    I would be interested to know more about this product

    Yes it could very well be in the insullation batting. The batting i put up had a tar like substance that was in the paper backing of the insulattion.
