    Yeah, you are probably right Nicky. Believe me, some of these Cali girls are too stuck on themselves, i'd like nothing more than to meet a nice gal with a Tacoma!

    Hey Nicky, you should post a pitch for some help in the VA thread, you just mentioned that you had shocks and asking about a mod-day, I'd pitch it a little harder, with TW, there has got to be a way to save you from having to pay a shop to do this

    well i get hell for playin the girl card, and i didnt want it to be just my truck gettin worked on. if i have all the tools and my dad here is willing to help then ill try it if not, ill try to find a mod day if that doesnt work then to the shop it is

    Naw, you're not playing the girl card, these jobs go a lot smoother if you have the right tools, and having someone around who has done it before is a huge help. I'm sure if you knew who to do it you would, get some PB blaster and soak down all the threads once a day for a couple of days in advance, believe me, that stuff helps a lot. Make sure you have good jack stands for safety, you may have to tug hard on a socket wrench to get nuts loose, block the front wheels VERY securely. If you can't find an angle grinder, get a hacksaw. Maybe, when you get the wheels off, try all of the bolts to see if they all loosen first before you start on a side. Find a small piece of metal pipe that fits over the end of the socket wrench for leverage, a piece say a foot long should do, preferably steel.
