    There was a post on CL about a 2007 ninja zx6r for 1700 bucks, figured it was a scam but I emailed the post anyway.... The response I got seems extremely legit.... I'm a little torn on what to do...

    The only part thats weird is that they said they want to go through ebay motors for the sale.... But I'm used to western union or cashiers checks or some other scam... Not ebay motors..

    That bike should go for $4k+. It's probably been wrecked/salvage title or is stolen. .

    He probably wants to go through ebay motors because of a lot of the scams that have been going on with cashiers checks. Going through ebay, you could pay with paypal and have both ebay and paypal after him if there are any issues with the transaction.

    I'd pry make a call down to the cop shop and have them run the VIN before I even sat on it, haha, but I don't think it's going to get that far. I really think its just a scammer.
