    My day has been pretty active so far. :D

    The guy called me back to let me know he found the Mcgard locks and lugs that he wanted me to have. And he gave me a locking gas cap - not sure if it fits though.

    Decided to go walk the singletrack mtn bike trails instead of the paved trails. Would have been nice if I brought my bike, but oh well...was beautiful climbing higher and was able to see a lot of the area from the top. On the way a triathlete in training ran past me and I noticed the cycling gear he was wearing and figured the bike locked by my truck must belong to him.

    I stepped wrong on a good sized rock, rolled my ankle. started to fall and used my ninja skillz to recover on the uneven ground. (For those of you who don't know, singletrack is a trail that is only about a foot wide) Felt a twinge of pain shoot though my back all up and down my spine from hitting the rock so I just stayed there low to the ground, in a squat position to keep my back straight, careful not to move my back.

    Was able to make it back to the truck but when I got there that triathlete guy was there. Someone stole is bike. Loaned him the phone so he can call his wife and spent a little bit of time with him discussing the scenario and looking for evidence (cut lock etc) and making suggestions in terms of recovery.

    That really sucks. Poor guy.

    The 24 Hours of Daytona is sports car and Daytona Prototype racing. Porches, Audi R8's, Camaro's Ferrari 458's and then the prototypes.

    PAtrick Dempsey has been racing for years. I know he placed 3rd last year and raced a Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
