    My PC is admin and is physically connected to the router. My wife's laptop connects wirelessly. If my PC is not on and connected, she can't connect.

    That answers my questions. Your PC is authenticating to the DSL provider. We should move that from your PC to the wireless router. Then either PC can be on the internet without the other one being turned on. If you get those settings put in the router that are on page 21 of the user guide that should help to fix things.

    There is LOTS of info out there and quite a bit of aftermarket stuff for them. They are bullet proof bikes. They are very popular for racing in the amateur classes.

    Wait, my original response is not totally correct, but not sure if that changes anything. I should have said:

    If my PC is not on, she can't connect.
    If my PC is on, but I don't launch IE, or even if my machine is sleeping, she CAN connect.

    Does this change anything?

    nope, it just means your machine is doing the pppoe connection and then opening it up for her computer to connect. We will just move that to the router so it will always be up.
