This is the 2011 Ranger, you cant tell me that the Tacoma is uglier than this! I like the generation of Rangers that came before this, if they were still availiable in 2011 I probably would have ended up getting one since I am a big Ford nut

I agree, I think the Tacoma is the best looking truck on the road today!

I do think that the current 2nd generation is a bit too big for a midsize truck... if it looked exactly (2005-2011) but the size of the 1st gen then it would be sweet

I saw one of these on the road and immediately thought that, with the new body style, it's begging to be turned into a hot rod. After seeing the pic in the article, I'm even more convinced.

Gut it, drop in a powerful v8, manual transmission, and solid rear axle to complete the transformation.

The Tacoma 2nd gen isn't going to win any beauty contests, but compared to the competition, there isn't any competition.
There's no debating the Hilux, Tacoma's cousin, is the best looking and purpose built truck on the planet.

This thread has me ROFL'ing. The raider, Dakota, and that damn ridgeline looks like someone made them while intoxicated. I think he is just biased to Tacomas.

I would never in a million years buy a GM product for numerous reasons, but the 2012 Colorado looks like a vast improvement (kinda like a mini avalanche).

The 2012 Chevy Colorado looks like they combined the front half of an Equinox with the back half of a previous gen Colorado crew cab.

Soo stylish and appealing...to a vespa rider I guess.
