Yeah, you suck. ;) I have been 'living' off my supply of bulk packs from the 90s (ahhh, the days when 500 rounds were $6.99-9.99) ever since Sandyhook. I've managed to land 22 once during that entire time (almost 3 years now) at WM. I go to WM at least once per week and they NEVER have any. Even now when the shelves are over-flowing with other kinds of ammo, 22 is non-existent.

I'm glad that things are better in the middle of the country. That tells me that the 'end' of this 3 year nightmare is just around the corner. Once it's plentiful, prices will stay low and I'll stock up. Until then, I just have to wait some more. :(

Palmetto State Armory--- .22 LR rounds in stock at pretty decent prices, roughly $.08/round

Went to cabelas yesterday, they had 22 shotshells and nothing else. Me thinks Texas is hogging all the ammo!

Went to Kittery Trading Post in Maine twice last week.
All types of ammunition was stocked...cept .22's.
Seems to be the new norm.

Picked up some 20 ga. Rem Accutips for my new Savage slug gun. They had plenty of those.

After almost 3 years, my local Walmart actually had a decent stock of 22 today. Federal Auto Match. 325-round boxes for $18.xx. In the old days 6 cents per round of 22 would be highway robbery...these days? I'll take it until the market improves! I bought 2 boxes and the guy said they had a bunch of it in stock right now. I think he said 200 total. He estimated it'll all be gone by Saturday afternoon. lol. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for 22 supplies in my area. FINALLY!

Not if it's quality ammo. I pay more than that for match grade .22lr all the time. (Norma, Lapua, etc). It just depends on what flavor of 22lr.

Cabelas in Madison/Huntsville, AL. 10's of THOUSANDS of rounds of .22LR. No box limits.
    image.jpg

Adventure Outdoors in Atlanta (Marietta), GA each one of those smaller brown boxes on the left is 3000 rounds of .22LR. This is their overflow stock. They have full racks right behind it.

    It's just about rape right?

They have lots of sales in there. They keep gun prices decent but ammo prices high. Then will have these awesome sales like I bought 50 rounds of Federal .45 ACP ammo during their sale for $15 a box. Usually they price it at $20-21. No limit on box count. Bought $100 worth.

PSA does have some good deals, especially around holidays. Got 1000 rds of 5.7 shipped for just under $290. Around here it is 27.99/50 all day. Same with 50 BMG. 39.99/10. PSA had them for 17.99/10 in December. Almost nothing for .22 currently though.
