    I have one that’s similar that I keep a variety of tools and rags in. That way if I’m not out wheeling I can just take it out.

    I've seen one mounted on the bed rail and had it marked for a first aid kit!

    I agree with above, get some aluminum diamond plate, bolt the boxes to it and then attach to the rail with tee slot nuts. Keep it up off the bed. Put one on each side in front of the wheel well so it’s easy to get to. You will have to mount something on the bottom of the alum.plate so it doesn’t swing back and forth. Just the top bolts in the rail won’t be enough.

    I have mounted several ammo boxes on the rails. And put locks on them to keep people from stealing my stuff. They are held on with wing nuts from the inside so I can slide them up and down the rail or just remove them.
