Looks good. I'm gonna try to find a place or two that I can put ammo can storage under the truck I think.

I really couldn't ever find a place I was happy with for 50 cal ammo can. cmacks looks the best of the places I tried, but it just seemed to stick down further than I was happy with. I was going to try a 30 cal, being an inch shorter, but is also quite a bit more narrow as well.

For in the bed, I was thinking something with a side opening instead of front opening would end up working a bit better, specially if you could stick it between the cab and the wheel well. http://store.colemans.com/cart/ammo-box-wwii-50-cal-p-221.html Haven't bit the bullet on it yet though, as I'm not entirely sure I need/want it any more.

They're 20mm cans, so the aren't hinged (lid comes fully off, gotta open both sides)

yup it looks like the 40mm are just as long, but not as tall and just a hair thinner.

The 20mm almost come up to the top of the bed rails.

IDK what shipping would be like, but the site I order 550 cord from has ammo cans of various sizes. I'd like to know how y'all went about installing that ammo can under the truck too. My can is leaving rust rings all over the bed of my truck.

I bet a 5.56 can would fit on the inner fender on a 2nd gen taco.
