There are no more plastic tabs, just epoxy and wishful thinking...

 

Passenger side, drivers side epoxy and wishful thinking is still holding true.

 

Lights came in, u-bolts and squishy things are in... talked with Marie at Headstrong, plan to order the leaf springs by the end of the month. At least...up until three days ago. Me thinks I messed something up in the front drivers side suspension. That or the Sway bar link is shot... but Steering still seems fine, there is just a fantastic squeak any time I manage to find even a small bump on the drivers side.

Kinda frustrated. Of course this is the week of finals.

Regardless. Progress is slow moving anymore with work and school.

 

Decided to fight with the track clamp things I made. They kept falling out or sliding with my fishing poles. So I took them off for a later date.

We’ll see if this holds. Needed to pull the axe out of the drawer to make some more space for my USAR gear.

If it works I may try for a second set and get a halligan in there.

 

Swapped out one tail light. The one that was only held in by the wiring harness. Went to swap out the one that @HomerTaco made into Robolight and it turns out they wired the third breaklight in such a way I can’t make the swap. Soooo. Trucks got a black eye?

I need to get my hands on some wiring gear.

 

We could start a trend.I am running stock non led on the left,and an aftermarket led on the right.

 

Usually it would irk me. But... a year of driving around with a two tone truck... meh. I’ll get to it.

 

Blarg. I’ve had this hideous metal squeak tr last two weeks. Thought it was the ball joint. Not to sure now. Crawled under and found this...

@TOYTONKA @loosnut any idea if either of this could be the cause?

 

That sway bar link could give you a squeak. The axle boot thats torn could give you a clunking or a clicking on sharp turns. Either way you gots ta throw more money at it.

 

I’ve got a spare CV or 7 if ya want.

 

Yea, I figured that out last bit already I was going to order my leaf springs Friday.

Do you need a sway bar end link? I've got a couple extra...

 

I did, but I ordered them and they are currently sitting in the truck. Just need a non holiday where I don’t feel like an asshole asking for help... cause I don’t really have a place to do the work. .
