2016 MGM SR5 TSS

This weekend I will be installing a sub and amp to my factory head unit and previously upgraded speakers. I’m just trying to get some recommendations for best possible amp mounting locations. I know some have installed in the larger of the two bins on the passenger side of the truck but I wonder if the amp heating up would melt the plastic ? Where have others mounted a non ********* amp?
