this may seem like a stupid question... But, i installed my amp under the seat in my truck, and am upgrading the head unit and need to re-tune everything. ill need to unplug the airbag in the seat, so im curious if there will be any issues starting everything up with the airbag unplugged.

No, just the dash light will come on but will go off once you plug the airbag back in

it should set a airbag code if you turn on the key with the airbag unplugged . you should be able to un bolt the seat but leave the wires plugged in . I have amps under both my front seats

Remove the negative battery cable first... that will ensure no inadvertent airbag deployment.

i was actually able to get all the new RCA cables run to the amp with the seat unbolted and leaned back, so it worked out pretty good. Had the battery cable unplugged to be safe.
