I used them on my last diff oil change and won’t go back. When I purchased them, amsoil didn’t offer manual trans fluid in the easy pack bags. As far as I know they don’t make a factory equivalent transfer case fluid either.

No stupid pump required. EDIT- stupid pump still required for the front diff. There wasn’t enough space for me to fit the bag and nozzle into the fill port. Rear diff was done in like 1/4 of the time though. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...6mt-fluid-change.481719/page-17#post-18959044

    all tore up already
Good idea but is it better? Gear oil comes in squeeze bottles, if the bag doesnt fit where a bottle wont, still using a pump or a line anyways. Nobody going to use a funnel to fill rear diff. @Omar RVA you tried front diff with these?

Had to use my shitty hand pump for the front diff. Bag plus tip didn’t fit in the space. Might have been a different scenario if the truck was on a lift and not jack stands in my driveway. Rear diff was a breeze with the bags.

I used bottles with pump last time, will be using the bags this time. I’ve got them all here, just haven’t gotten around to doing it.

I’d think you could just get a small hose for the front diff to put on the nozzle and call it a day. Gotta be way easier than the pumper

I do envy the bags but will grab the bottles for the next time.

The front diff and MT are a breeze compared to the rear. Still, an hour and some good jams are just fine with the weaksauce pump.
