we need to start a thread called "pics of your arm and driveway post oil change" as sort of a support group for the huge disservice the Toyota Engineers did us.

Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.
I just wanted to come here and say thanks. I emailed Amsoil and asked why the EA15k02 filter only pops up for 2018 at the time. I didn't get a response but if you goto the website it looks like they put in the oil filters for up to 2020 models. I can't imagine the 2021 I put a deposit down on doesn't use the same engine oil filter as the 2020 refresh year. Is this correct? I believe the oil filter as the 3rd gen Tacomas is the same as the 2021 Lexus NX300 2.0 Turbo, but it only shows for earlier models just like the Tacoma.

been a week and a half since I did all my fluids and I got to say, my rear diff is much quieter even though the fluid that came out was fairly clean, this amsol stuff is top-notch

Which would provide better engine protection/longevity, signature oil changed at 10k interval or base oil changed at 5k interval and is there a downside to either option.

Amsoil gets, or used to get, the data from Alldata. Sometimes the data can be a little laggy. I am pretty sure they use the same oil filter cartridge.

Highly doubt there would be any difference. 10K is pretty easy for Signature Series. 5K, wasted oil, time, hassle.

Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.

From my personal experience, the SS changed at 7500-12500 miles intervals offers the best overall protection for the price. I have used it in my '04 IS300, '13 FR-S and will be using it in the new Tacoma.

That mimics my personal experience using Amsoil in the diffs for my other RWD cars, as well as for their manual transmissions. It's quieter. I have tried Red Line equivalents and they are also good, however I noticed the RL products didn't last quite as long as the Amsoil in the transmission and got darker a tiny bit quicker, not that it's necessarily an indicator of oil life.
