Hey Y'all!! I'm looking to see if anyone knows an aftermarket camera for an OEM Pro grill. Recently got this grill from someone that bought it from the dealership with a pro vin. I'd like to utilize this spot for a forward facing camera but need aftermarket. (My truck didn't have a camera from factory). So if you know a camera that fits well with little modifications, or even better an option that comes with a bracket that utilizes the factory bracket holes, I'd appreciate it!

    Thanks!

The “anytime rear camera kit” might be a good idea. Just seek out a camera on Amazon. I personally have the anytime kit. When I had the same pro grill I had to shim it to get enough angle to make the camera effective. Otherwise it was looking straight down the street.

+1 for anytime camera- added benefit of running a switch to make it anytime front and rear

Here’s where I put mine, works perfectly

Yea, I'm doing the "anytime rear camera kit". I'm just wondering if someone knows an aftermarket camera that works with the stock, OEM, factory, TRD grill that was bought from the dealership. So I can utilize the factory camera hole in the grill. Like in The photo above.
That's actually my grill, not a random photo.

Not at all. I had bought the same brand as what was offered in the anytime camera. Nakita.

Anytime camera will work! It’s only 200 bucks rather get that then 1700 for the advance package they have.

I know it will work with the truck but will the camera fit in the oem spot in the trd pro grill like I circled above?

Yep, and that's what I'll end up doing. Unless someone here happens to have first hand knowledge of a camera before hand. So its not trial and error. Forums are great for sharing things of this nature.

First time posting on TW and long time lurker, but saw this post and figured I'd share my solution and hope it helps anyone else in the future, Mid last year, I purchased the TRD offroad OEM lift from toyota for my sr5, and had the same cutout/dummy cover for a camera.

No camera I found would fit the hole correctly, so I got as close as I could to it with calipers and then used a Dremel with a die bit and went around and around in mid RPM carefully widening the hole for the camera to fit SUPER snug.

I purchased this camera; Amazon.com: NATIKA Backup/Front/Side View Camera: No Distortion Effect Starlight Night Vision HD Metal Flush or Surface Mount CVBS | AHD Reverse Rear View Backup Camera for Cars Pickup Trucks SUVs RVs Vans : Electronics

I initially purchased the germes anytime kit, but ultimately went with the anytime camera. (Found the switch way more convenient).

Attached are pictures of the install completed, and the camera view. I truly hope this helps anyone who's afraid to use power tools on your grill, just be slow and careful and try ever few grind downs and you will get it done!Screenshot 2022-09-11 103901.jpg Screenshot 2022-09-11 103835.jpg

How straight down? I plan to use it for off roading and only care to see what is below line of sight of my hood. If I want to see down the street I can look out my windshield.
