Anyone used this "anchor" brand of trans mount before? It's $60 versus the $200 that Toyota wants for an OEM mount. Wondering if they are junk or are able to hold up while wheeling at all

I Would prefer not to go to poly mounts, also trying to only replace the trans mount and leave the motor mounts alone

I am using the one from 4X Innovations and quite happy. With the Original Motor mounts

If you don`t like the Poly bushings the only other one I would use would be Toyota

thanks for your input, i have seen the 4x one and it looks good. so you have one poly mount in the rear and stock engine mounts? I wasn't sure if having poly in one mount and stock ones in the front would have any negative effects? i think i read its best to keep them matched up but if there's no weird vibes or anything then thats good to know

no worries. my gear shifters (5 speed trans) started moving around a lot more under throttle and i get an occasional minor clunk when accelerating after shifting up gears. got under the truck and i can push the trans and the rubber pieces on the rear mount have some small splits in them and allow a fair bit of play. its not completely broke yet, could probably drive on it for a while still but i want to go abuse my truck on some trails without messing anything up

I tried an "Anchor" mount on one of my other rides ( 1st Gen Escape) and most of the bolt holes wouldn't line up so I returned it. Bought OEM for the big $$ but it fit correctly. Hope this helps.

Myself the clutch was being changed I like Adam I bought a few of the mounts

Mine has been in 50,000 miles plus

I guess if one is Super Anal and things need to be perfect the different mounts might be a problem

I run poly trans mounts on my mid eighties Toyota 4x4`s and the stock motor mounts

My vehicles get used they are not pretty perhaps one day I can own a vehicle pretty much all one color !!

I am in need of new rear transmission mount and was wondering if anyone has given the Anchor brand a try since this was posted a few years ago. I am thinking of giving it a try as long as it bolts on without any problems.
