Surely I'm not the only one intrigued by the "Ancient Aliens" show on the History Channel. You know, the one with this guy:

Anyway, I watched the show a few times and it really gets you thinking. Like how did they so precisely build the Pyramids in Giza, the giant sculptures on Easter Island, the Aztec Temples, etc. How did they do so with such precision? How did they transport the materials? How did they....? It gets you wondering a lot of things? Then of course the show leads you on to think that the only possible way was, of course, via ET interaction. I didn't really know how I felt about the whole "alien" thing in general, but it really had me questioning some things. I do have an inquisitive mind and wanted to know more. I found this video and this guy basically ass rapes this biased and ignorant show with logic, science, and archaeology. The show leaves out tons of information, blatantly lies, and really sounds stupid when a little bit of research is done. So if you have any interest in "ancient aliens" or how some of these awesome manmade structures were built so long ago, here's a 3 hour video to satisfy that curiosity.

The simple explanation is tons of vision, huge labor forces with no regulations, and skills and knowledge that have since been forgotten.
As a society we seem to think we know everything there was and stored the knowledge, I'd say the pyramids prove we likely forgotten as much as we currently know collectively.
Sadly, too many people mistake the tv and net as some sort of truthbox. The tv logic is, "if you cant prove me wrong , I must be right".

I don't have time to watch that all now but I did watch the beginning part on Pumapunku where they say that the estimates of the largest stone there are erroniously stated at 800 tonnes when actually the stone is ONLY 130 tonnes and the author makes a big deal about the figure being off by A WHOPPING 670 TONNES !

I was left thinking " ya fine , but how the fuck did they move a 130 tonne stone ? "

I hope to watch the rest on the weekend

Build the needed forms..... use it to form a sand stone block.......repeat. keep moving form onto the next level/height. Carry sand/water/mud....insert to form, let dry, take apart form maybe?

Very light work compared to the "move giant blocks" idea no?

Tired, medicated, talkin out my ass......I will watch video later tho.

A bunch of shows on TV are this way, its how they make money. I just want to know if aliens with space faring technologies capable of faster than light travel came to earth many years ago, why the hell would they come all that way just to help us make rock structures?

I will tell you why, because there aren't aliens.

Exactly, you do not exist because I have not experienced you first hand.

    Ditto.

Human being have to be incredibly selfish to believe that they are the only intelligent life form in the universe.
Human being have to be incredibly conceited to believe that any life form in the universe capable of interstellar or intergalactic travel would have any interest in us to any degree more extreme than we might be interested in an Amoeba.

gravity is a theory, that doesn't exist either.

I don't really care if there is a chance that some planet supposedly has a mathematical chance of having some bacteria. It has no impact on my life and it simply can't be proven.
