Y'all see how much positive offset that track width is? The body extends a few inches past the wheels.

I am thinking this mule is not the Tacoma's body work, but a Tundra body on a Tacoma chassis

They seem to be actively addressing the complaints about the interior's size of the Tacoma - At least I assume so looking at the heft of the test(ing) subjects.

Ew, I continue to be glad I bought the 3rd generation and didn't wait. Not a fan of the new Tundra and I don't think I'll be a fan of this either. The Interior is blocky, the exterior is blocky. They just went too far in one direction in styling.

willing to bet with the TNGA platform that’s a tundra body on taco parts. The interesting question will be if the 3.5 TT will fit the next gen taco.

Wonder if the next Gen 4R will also end up being produced in Mexico, it will be sharing the same platform so it could make sense.

That's just the camo. Think padded fabric. It's thick.

Does look like Tundra taillights. Plus the body looks out of proportion.

Wut!? lol! Years ago I suggested that the Tacoma needs a coil sprung rear, and got flamed…nice to see it becoming a reality.

Not excited about any of this turbo crap at all. Especially with the wastegate issues with the Tundra. Thankfully my trd offroad comes in at the end of next month.

Perhaps, Ford did have that odd pickup mule for the Bronco.

Think it will cure the soft bottom end that so many piss and moan about. Of course there will be trade-offs. Toyota does do warranty repairs well, shouldn’t worry too much about it. Just trade in before the warranty is up. Which is odd to think that way about Toyotas.

The only known thing that remotely excites me right now is the coil springs, for my usage that would be better. Rear disks are cool, but I've never been on the drum hating bandwagon. Easier to service, so that's nice I guess.

Powertrain is really a complete unknown.

I'm guessing a base normally aspirated four, and a turbo four option. Maybe just the turbo four like the Ranger. Automatic with more than 6 gears. Probably a hybrid option.

Biggest question for me, will there be a manual option?

    A few.
Possibly so. I personally have doubts that its the actual Tacoma body

Also looks like the rear wheel is offset towards the front of the fenderwell instead of in the center.
