Maybe time to upgrade to a girl friend who would be happy with the wool blanket just to be in your company.

maybe if my wool blanket had air conditioning and bolsters under it, I'd get away with it for awhile

and honestly, now that I'm thinking about it, any custom upholstery I'd try would be based on a wool blanket anyway. I love the cowboy blanket look with matching door panels. I'd probably do it with plaid, or something more Vermonty, though.

I had the bench seat in my 415,000 mile '96 4x4 reupholstered including new foam and WoW, what a difference in looks and comfort.

I’ve put a “wanted to buy” posting on Craigslist hoping someone converted their bench seat to bucket seats and will sell me their “Lunar Mist” bench seat to me cheap. No bites in over a month. Mine need replacing. Some support rods are broken underneath the driver side.

Around $800. I was super lucky as he just happened to have enough material to match existing left over from a previous job. Both new seat covers and that material was discontinued years ago.

    thank you Sir.

I figured it would be up there.

Spending $500.00 to just have the foam replaced in one bucket seat was to much for my frugal tastes.

If the shop did not want the job why not just say no thanks.

Thanks, it has been trouble-free over my 26 years and 415,000 miles of ownership. Just regular stuff replaced, brakes, clutch, starters, alternator, ball joints once, batteries and such.
1st Gen Tacomas are GREAT trucks.

I got an old memory foam mattress topper I’m tempted to cut up and shape my own seat foam. Just gotta get some seats to work on so I don’t have to swap in some 5gallon buckets while my seats go under the knife

Not Tacoma, but is available with a direct bolt-on mount (or fab up your own).

    Under $1,000.

10 for comfort, but that's subjective as a seat comfortable for one person can be uncomfortable for another.

Was diagnosed with sciatica in 2020, and I have a truly messed up back (disabled veteran) if that says anything. I can drive my LC for hours and still get up and out without fatigue.
