The first few glut of buyers will come in, but I'm sure these things will start to be discounted after 6 months of their initial sale date

ORs and sports will and are. Pros and THs will likely not be below MSRP for the foreseeable future

I think the pro seats are awesome and really want to try them out, but the rear legroom hit you take is insane. Watched TFL's vid on the Pro and there's barely any room.

$65k is already rape for a Tacoma much less throwing $10k onto that. Salesman is right though - somebody will pay it guaranteed!

I feel like the halo trims are just expensive jewelry for most. You are really getting diminished returns after the Trd Pro and Sport. I mean, if you have the money, go for it, but I don't think I would go for those trims even with an unlimited bank account. I kinda like to blend in in traffic though.

With the 4th gen I totally agree. When I got my 2022 TRD Pro it was essentially the same price as a fully loaded TRD Off Road. And it was still available with a manual transmission. I don't understand how Toyota can justify this much of a price increase. I think they overplayed their hand. I'm sure they'll sell plenty of them but the new model is priced way too high. I think they're preparing room for a new lower priced model in their lineup. Stout?

A 4g OR-Premium hybrid with all the options is pretty close to $60k. Add the fox suspension and all the cute pro bits and $65k seems on the level for the new paradigm

I just bought a fully loaded 2024 Tundra Platinum with the TRD lift factory installed in Nashville for close to $10k less than that Tacoma Pro. Btw, my 2021 Taco Off Road with loads of mods will be up for sale shortly. I love it, but really needed a full size to tow my Jeep JL across country to Moab and CA.

    I’ve never seen an 2nd or 3rd gen Off-road within 5k of a PRO.

Because they’ll steal the first one. Actually, it’s just there to see if anyone actually looks at the details. Tacomaworld easter egg.

And more to the point, why is it in the configurator at all?

Nobody is going to sell you a hybrid with only the stabilizer disconnect. Especially at a discount right now.

You are wasting your time, and ours. :D
