I meant disconnect. Thank god you don’t have to deal with the Gulf States mafia. They really suck now.

Absolutely ridiculous. I am not the biggest fan of the 3rd gen Tundra, but no freaking way I'd pay $10k extra for any Tacoma over a fully loaded Tundra Platinum. That's just nuts.

And this shit is the reason I won’t buy another Toyota truck. F*** stealerships. My next truck is going to be a F-150 that I can build myself and that doesn’t go a penny over msrp.

Paint is the new greedflation option. White or black or 500-1000 more. Companies seem to care less and less about the consumer

    That’s the German model.

There are usually four free non-metallic options which include black and white.

Then metallic paint is $700 to $1000, which includes a metallic black or white which doesn’t look as shitty.

Then funky special paints are anywhere from $3000 to $5000.

Then custom paint is anywhere from $15,000-$30,000.

    Me too.

They didn’t charge me, it’s a screenshot of a config. But I definitely like Supersonic Red. Beats the shit outta Barcelona.

Perhaps I am wrong, but after watching the Toyota promo videos about how much effort went into designing those special seats for the pro, they shot themselves in the foot with development costs and now trying to pass those costs on to us…..

Not surprised. 2023 Pros were 8k over sticker here & they were selling. All this is geared to those buyers who shop by what the monthly payment will be for max payments, not total cost.

It’s just a red version of the seat you have in a tractor.

TacoBuffet, I live north of Nashville and I purchased my 21 Pro from a dealer in eastern Kentucky- I ended up paying below sticker with no add ons- (3 hour drive, but worth it)
Don’t be afraid to look around, Brentwood/Franklin areas always charge too much.

The consumer is the one to blame. People will go into debt to the point of living under a bridge as long as they can finance the latest toys.

Vehicles that appreciate in value are rare. The Tacoma Pro does pretty well, but it isn’t a 67 Shelby Mustang.

No worries I’m unfortunately in AL, our retirement plans are TN or TX though. I was just looking at allocations in a 500 mile radius. I drove 10 hours to get my 22 below MSRP and $39k trade in on my 2020 with 60k miles lol
