A good friend owns a wrecker service that does semi wrecks and heavy hauls. I was spending a day with them a couple summers ago. We went to a wreck where 2 semi's had hit, one flipped, other one had the trailer snap in half. It had an interstate shut down for 8 hours. The bill on that wasn't as much as getting that Cherokee dragged out of the mud. But then again, you know how those Jeeps can be nothing more'n dead weight....

 

Heard this one on the news this morning. Pretty ridiculous but not entirely out of the question here in the People's Republik.

 

That's fucking absurd. If I'd know I was getting stuck with a bill like that, I'd pull the plates/VIN and leave it there.

 

It's still sitting at the tow yard because obviously he didn't pay the bill, but they also totaled his heep while pulling it out
