I was looking forward to receiving and installing an engine manifold spacer to marginally improve handling on my truck. As a contractor I deal with messed up procurements regularly and try to cut folks some slack. In this instance, multiple issues over lengthy communications lead me to caution others about working with this vendor.
I hope your experience is better.

I urge any potential purchaser from this vendor to tread cautiously indeed, verify part required, take screenshots and track and record all ordering and financial transactions. Whether by ineptitude or intent it appears the part developer’s son is unable to handle procurement, shipping, communications, billing, and refunds in a productive manner.

The website does not make clear the part required for my model truck. I ordered a part during a helpful telephone call with him to ascertain which I needed. I received a part that did not match, again wrote and telephoned to learn “You ordered the wrong part.” Huh. Not according to my screenshots.

They were to ship correct part “in stock” immediately “at no extra charge” and issue an RMA to return this one at no charge. Great. Mistakes happen.

Months and emails later…. No part. Huh. Then an email “we haven’t forgotten you, it’s out of stock.”

Okay… still waiting…. Weeks later no response to emails and a telephone message.

My timeframe and desire to work on this sucker expired. Upon sending certified mail and email demanding a full monetary refund I finally get a response… and an unsolicited part mailed out. Promised a refund, I received an email statement saying my precise credit card was refunded in full on a certain date.

It wasn’t. No record of refund this, last, or coming month.

So… hope your experience is better.

My lost time in this matter is worth far more than the part in the first place.

I have an unsolicited, undesired, brand new machined kit sitting in my office unopened. Purportedly for a 2GR-FE engine e.g. 3rd gen 6 cylinder Tacoma. If someone wants it PM me and I can send a photo. $100 plus shipping to get it out of my sight.

i have their spacer and had none of the issues you described. i think the spacer is definitely worth it, especially for a MT

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
What part number do you have? Why do you say it's wrong? They only list 1 item for the 2GR engine, how could you have ordered the wrong thing?

I think you received a correct part. Thats the only spacer they have for 2gr family.

So the way a manifold spacer works is it slightly increases the volume of air going into the engine, which lowers the rpms at which the power comes in. I'd say it lowered the power band by about 1000 rpms. So if in a certain gear I'd feel the power normally come in around 4k rpms, it now comes in around 3k rpms. Can't speak on an automatic, but on a manual trans I think its more noticeable, because in situations where I'd have to downshift to a lower gear going up a hill or something like that, I can now stay in the gear.

I can speak on the automatic. Towing a 5100 lb trailer it holds 4th much longer and combined with the YotaWorx tune is a very noticeable difference.

The tacoma v6 is the 2gr-fks engine, unless you have swapped the v6 from a highlander or rx350...

So if your ordered a spacer for the 2gr-fe engine and are having issues putting it on the 2gr-fks... that's on you homie.

Edit- the part numbers for the rx350 lower intake manifold is different than the 2gr-fks tacoma v6 lower intake manifold, indicating there are some differences.

Edit2- if they took a while getting back to you, it may have been because they were getting a hold of the 2gr-fe intake manifolds and altering their fks spacer to work.
