Does the shroud completely cover the solenoid? One of the videos said no shouds cover it, but I don't see it in any of the pictures

So if I didn't paint it, you would be able to see the solenoid up under the projector:

Yep I'm taking a road trip this evening specifically to make minor adjustments to the lights and get them dialed in for good.

Have you ever thought of hydro dipping the shrouds and stuff instead of paint? Just thought about it, seems like it would be super easy since there's no waiting for paint to dry/making sure everything got covered/dirt. But idk if it would hold up I've never messed with it.

I've seen hydro dipping in person and it never crossed my mind doing shrouds. Would be interesting to see. For example, carbon fiber hydro dipped shrouds

I planned on doing this, but sold my spare set before I got around to it. I was going to do the shrouds and the bowls along with some interior pieces.

We offered it as a service, but the work was pretty lousy. Add that to a lack of interest, and we only had a small test sample of carbon fiber, wood grain, etc.

From a retrofit or the housings? I don't remove butyl sealant--just add more atop it.

I'm considering popping these open to paint the shrouds even more like an eyeball:

I think they look good the way they are. The less like an eyeball the better.
