    Hey Bros.

Does any one else have a slight crinkle, type of plastic rubbing on pleather sound coming from what sounds like possibly the passenger dash area?

I originally thought it was my owners manual moving in its compartment in the glove box.

It is the slightest of soft sounds, but it is described as above. I thought it might even be the dash was loose in some area, or the passenger assist handle above the window was loose.

Its not the tweeter speaker... I just cannot find this nuisance of a noise. Like I said it sounds almost like the two pieces of PLEATHER rubbing softly on bumpy roads.

    IDK FML!!!!!

Any and all feedback helps... Godspeed.

I have this sound from time to time! usually on my way home from work in the afternoon.

I won't take it in since its so intermittent, when the dealer looks for rattles they usually create rattles.

I have a noise, I believe it's the panel right by the A pillar. If I push down on the dash it goes away

    Bro it is so annoying.

Being that I keep my truck more meticulous than the white house, and I have a slight OCD about EVERYTHING it is driving me nuts.

I hear it most on small neighborhood roads and slower driving rather than highway driving.

Yeah I feel like taking it in for this would not only bug the dealer but they may tear my dash apart and make it worse....

Thank you. I will try that out today. Constant weight on the panel to prevent the noise! FML lol.

    HOLY MOLY

    Thank you brohammm..

I will operate on it shortly.

    Keep the ol' fingers crossed.

The wife is getting annoyed with me almost wrecking every time I get in the passenger seat, because I get about as distracted as a cat with a laser pointer when I am looking for that noise....

After poking around TW I know what it is but thought I'd try my luck today with the dealership. Took it in for the 10,000 mile service and mentioned the noise. We will see

I have the A pillar issue but my rear view mirror is really noisy too. Might be worth checking that...

Hah, that pic is actually from someone on TW. Had a few rattles in my 16 already. One where the crawl control console resides. They fixed that. The other is next to the A pillar, which I took it in and they claimed it was adhesive to hold some wires together not sticking. This only happens in cold weather btw. I'm still getting that ticking sound in the same area so I will have them look at it again at my 15k service. Didn't spend almost 40k to have some ticking noise annoy the hell out of me. I feel your pain, brosef!

DUDE. I just started noticing this noise on my 2017 a couple days ago.

I thought it was my glovebox as well. Once I got it to stop by opening and closing the glovebox.

I have it on my truck and the SR5 loaner I had from the dealer last week had the same noise.

I bought a roll of felt tape on Amazon and put it between the A pillar and speaker cover. All gone.

I was going to post the exact same question but found this thread! I'm going to plastidip a tooth pick, slap a tiny total chaos sticker on it, give the toothpick as much bro lean as possible, and jam that MUTHERF@CKER in that crack immediately. Hahahahaha. That shit has been driving me absolutely bat shit crazy and my fiancé is so tired of me having her try and locate the noise that it's casued a couple of arguments. This thread alone validates my true appreciation for TW!:bananadance:
