Besides everything stated above, I would check your cv boots/ axles.
There should be no clunking, nor grinding for any reason with a good suspension set up, especially stock. Unless your tires don't fit, and have been rubbing.

You just gotta get under it and yank on things. Unless you see tell-tale wear marks from something banging. If you have done anything to your suspension, retorque everything. Check tire for signs of alignment issues, which may indicate wear. Lastly it can be the bushing on top of the coilover. Make sure the upper bolt has no clearance to the bushing. Sounds like something is worn or loose and slides out of spec on occasion.

I torqued all the bolts. The LCA bolts were not even close to where they should've been. (my fault - not taking the skid plate off and doing the struts/lift by loosening them and swinging them out) It's better but still there on big dips and it's exactly as you describe = only the first dip or big bump? I still have my sway bar though. Could the SB be hitting the 5100's? I don't see evidence of that and it didn't do it for the first two years after lift? Struts are solid top and bottom

Well define the first one. Something is happening between bumps that is straightening things out again before the next bump. That's why I feel it's a bushing. Something that bumps when it swings off center, then stays that way a while. Another Idea is strap a phone or camera near different parts and slowly go over some speed bumps. See if anything catches your eye.

I should have warned you, you would want to mark your alignment cams before torque ing those bolts so you don't pull something out of whack. In fact if you go for an alignment checkup they might be able to find something.
