Buckle your seatbelt, then get in and sit on top of it.

Alternatively, there are seatbelt blanks that will plug into the receiver, thus satisfying the sensor. I have heard that there are 3D files available for this type of thing.

I keep one of these in the truck just for that type of purpose... it's a dog seatbelt harness thing
I think I paid about $8.00 for it - I use mine when I'm driving low and slow on back roads with
my Nikon in hand looking for wildlife - I can then jump in and out of the truck pretty quick too.

Oh it works like a champ. Sets in the tray under the radio just swell, or in the door-pocket.
Probably pick one up at any local pet store or big-box joint.

What would be cool is if someone could set a MPH for the damn seatbelt chime.
I rarely get over 20-25 mph when I'm cruising these backroads waiting for a rattler to cross.

I was able to get the dealer to shut it off for me. But this was on a 2016.

I already tried that, they said its a "regulation" even though I am one paying for the truck, and as 305 lbs 6'2 its really annoying to wear seatbelt in my own farm. I will try the dog thingy and see

Not sure if the 4th gen is the same as the 3rd gen but I got a cheap OBD Bluetooth device and downloaded the Carista App on my phone. Had to pay $19.95 for a year to use the App. You can turn off the seat belt alarms, change chimes, directional sounds etc. Might be worth a shot. I'm 6'2 300 myself. Hate wearing the belt for quick in and out drives and turned just the drivers side off.

I have a 3D printed one that I keep in the plastic visor pocket or in the passenger seatbelt.
Put too much weight on the passenger seat and it thinks someone is sitting there.

Try this or one of the apps that lets you turn it off. I did this for the same reason you want it.

The problem with using a blank or plug in seatbelt is the air bag could go off if something crazy happens which if you don't have a belt on could make a small bump deadly.

Personally, I don't endorse it but what you do on private land is your business.

But then, I'm accustomed to it. Part of my work is riding around on an ATV collecting samples. Its a hard rule of seatbelt while on site, always, every vehicle. It might feel annoying to buckle, move the cart 10 feet, then unbuckle to collect the next sample. But eventually you realize that it takes 5-10 seconds out of your day to do so, and it sure is easier than getting fired. So now I'm in the habit of seatbelt always when goofing around with the personal vehicle. I'm ashamed to say that I've caught myself doing it when moving the truck from the driveway to the garage. Again, what the rest of yall do on private land is your business.
