Annoying sound

I wear my seatbelt.
I was eyerolling the small bumps setting off the airbags.

 

The worst I've seen was someone who had a hard landing and the t-case lever somehow punctured their leg. Alcohol was involved.

They didn't die. Their camping trip was merely involuntarily ended Friday night.

 

I've seen someone "bump" into a tractor and pop an airbag. Driver went to the hospital. If the air bag didn't go off he would have been fine. That's why cars have the SRS system tied to know about the seatbelt status.

That's where I started. It was fun. I got real tired of the boom/bust cycle and not being home for Christmas and bailed out of O&G. I was working mining industry for a while. Now I'm in cement. But, because the plant has its own quarry on site the entire property is under MSHA regulations. Around here, if you get handed a seatbelt citation, it's usually a fine in the five figure range. Naturally, upper management generally does not look favorably upon that.

 

Oh wow, that's pretty cool, i didn't realize my half joking question was actually close to the mark.

I run these in mine and leave them in. No problems at all....but for the week or so I was trying to chase down an annoying rattle that sounded like it was coming from the glove box or passenger door only to eventually figure out it was the shorty seat belt extender installed on the passenger side.
