My wife doesn't really like driving my truck, but when she does drive it I don't care one bit. She's used to her ford focus and can't park the DCLB. So when she drives it, it's only to places where she knows she can find a pull through parking spot away from other cars.

She not scared to hurt the truck. She's scared she'll hurt someone else's car.

The very first time my wife drove my truck she backed it into another car. Not drove it all day and had an accident, but right away. And all i could do was watch it happen. We were just about to go on a road trip VA-FL and i wanted to move my motorcycle to our storage unit cause some bad weather was supposed to hit while we were gone. The plan was i go drop off my bike, she follows me in truck, picks me up and i take over from there. Well as im puttin my helmet on she backs outta the spot, rolls 15ft in reverse across the road and straight into a car that was parked in the spots on the oppisite side. Side note its an automatic w/ back up camera. I was beyond mad. luckily no damage to my truck but a really small scrape on the bumper and i thought she dented the other car, but when we told the owners they said it was already there and not to worry bout it. So no harm no foul i guess but it took me a couple months before i let her drive it again.

If I had a girlfriend I wouldn't care less if she drives my truck or not.

The only thing that I won't let anyone do in my truck is smoke. That's about it.

And right now I do have a pretty good deterrent although not really intentional. I have a power adjustable driver seat with no power going to it

I have long legs, so if you don't, you more than likely don't want to drive my truck.

The only complaint I have about my wife driving my truck is that she never readjusts the seat or the rear view mirror back to the way she found them. But I think that's just me being picky. As I am with everything about my truck.

Not a fan of the GF driving it because of her lead foot but I sure do love watching the truck drive away and hearing the exhaust. Different POV, I guess

So the question is, do you adjust them back to how she had them for when she drives it? Didn't think so.

I'm rather conflicted about the subject. My fiance is a good driver and can drive a stick shift so I have no problem with her driving my truck. BUT she _just_ totalled my last truck by playing chicken with a Jersey Barier. It was a 2005 Ranger fx L4 Off Road that was paid off and in great condition... BUT, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have gotten a nice down payment and just bought my first TACO! (2013 TRD Sport 4x4 AC) No one was hurt, no other cars were involved, but now I have a new truck payment and a new TACO!
