You can still run it NA on the supercharger tune if you ever revert it back apparently. It's supposed to run just fine after the fact.

Ahh tis true. You probably do have to leave the blower injectors in huh. There are plenty replacements out there, I can't imagine a bag of 6 being overly expensive to include in the resale though.

Have you tried going 65 instead of 75 and seeing if it still shifts like that?

Perhaps the 3.5 will go the route of Ford's 6.0

If you're going with a DCSB you're going to be sadly disappointed with the 4 banger.

It's so people don't flash it. Run 800hp and blow something up. Turn it back to stock and make a warranty claim.

Subaru let's you flash the sti's computer back, which i was very surprised at given their platform.

But according to numerous techs, subaru still know when it's been changed.

Why the fuck any auto manu. would incorporate more than 5 speeds (especially autos) into a trans is beyond me, & some of you mentioning its "eagerness" to shift is a direct result of multi speed transmissions, the more gears/speeds you add the closer the ratio it has to be,i.e; more gears/quicker shift points Unlike the ECT which extends shift points to a longer duration within the power band...presumably for towing..

I've flashed my ECM/TCM over 100 times with hp tuners. I'm just saying when we do an "update" through GM programming, there is no going back

Ok, flashing bios is what this sounds like to me so I'm pretty sure theres a EPROM/ROM chip to be written to why only 1 flash 1 time is odd & isn't there an option to back up whatever has been written to it already..?? If not thats just B.S.....

Hopefully Toyota will refine the programming as more vehicles are sold and customer feedback builds up. I have the exact same truck on order

Mine does the same thing...I've detailed my frustrations in my post. Mine has trouble staying in 6th on cruise at 75 on flat roads.

Give it time. There's already a reflash for shift flare on the 4cyl so if there is a problem with the 3.5 there will be a reflash soon enough.

The manual mode doesn't seem to control downshifting. The trans will still downshift from 5 to 4 if it wants to. It does help you maintain a lower gear for acceleration though.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^this is correct in my experience with many alleged "manual mode" vehicles. Same reason why if you leave in 6th but start to pull up to a stop light in will downshift without your input. Not really a manual IMO. I'm not a big fan of 6 and up transmissions.... I couldn't even use Cruise in my Kia because the constant shifting drove me nuts.
