I'll be there. Please let me know if we are going to lose a bunch of guys. I'm coming up from Corvallis so I'd prefer to not get to McDonald's and find no one there.

Tuned my CB last night. Amazing what a tiny adjustment to the tip of the firestik can do for your SWR. Good to go!

Back in town. Had a hint of snow in the air through Vancouver. Did a look at the Lee's Camp webcam, doesn't look bad from there so I think we are still on, we just keep an eye out in case we need to end early.

Yeah, I just hope that tip doesn't rattle itself out of place. Seems like a pretty loose fit in its threads

Do you have the cap? Mine hasn't seemed to have moved at all even after a tree ripped my first cap off. They replaced the cap for free, great company!

Yeah, cap is on there. Hopefully that will do it! You have CB on your truck? I hope quite a few guys do so we can stay in contact.

EDIT: Just looked at your build thread and saw your firestik. COOL!

Yea, I need to re-ground though. I get mad feedback from electronics in the truck (ABS, window motors, ect).

I should probably update my build thread someday lmao....

Probably based off how your CB is grounded? Not the antenna, right? I ran negative and positive all the way to my battery because I heard that feedback can be an issue if you ground to the body.

Yea it's not grounded to the battery. I want to re-run the power after I get the fuse box installed ect. So for now I"m just going to live with it lol. I also want to relocate the Cobra 75's connection point to the last 'free' button between the power in the dash and install the cb holder ect.... I just kinda did it quick and dirty the first round.
