If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
You can either call and talk to Gretchen, or try to pick one up at one of the locations on the way, Chickenmunga has a link in the OP (and some other important/useful info.)

If he gets bored with us and wants to do his own thing as well, there's supposed to be some pretty serious bike trails.

Good thinking! He hasn't committed for sure, but I'll see if he wants to throw his bike in the back just in case.

So doesn't look like ill have a rear HC or sliders by then (sliders ship with the bumper)... :( I was told by end of next week it will ship but its the third time i've been told when its supposed to be ready so who knows... Maybe sliders but probably not bumper.

Dammit, I should have remembered that there's one that usually happens around then. They effectively monopolize the whole place.

On 7/10 you have the Jolly Jeepers. I don't know how much space they plan to consume.
Here's the other dates o' doom

Either 6/26 is back on (and I'll have to cancel), or we postpone to 7/17

The only other thing I can think of is if we hide out over in the Trask area, but I'd have to get in touch with GitOut for that.

I would be better with 7/17. I guess I have some family coming to my house on 6/27. Which would mean, I'd be in Oregon every weekend for a month straight.

This the 17th (maybe), wedding the 25th, pick up the kid from my parents the 1st... reunion the 8th, wedding the 15th........

The only plus side to this month is we could win some awesome prizes... Buddy won a winch last year.

The poker run should only effect campsites that weekend. I could try and get there early as hell Friday to snag a spot somewhere, either at browns or down to Lydia or whatever.

I thought they set up stuff on certain trails and ran people through the gamut? If we aren't in the way (and their huge population isn't going to prevent us from riding trails), then camping shouldn't be a problem.
I have Friday off that week, so I can get into Hillsboro Thursday night and scout for camping as early as the next morning.

I'm all game for that weekend. I'm not sure of the organization doing the poker run, but if it's like last year we didn't have issues. Just had to camp in that spot by the intersection since browns was full.

OK I couldn't remember if we shared the same weekend. If so, then yeah, the place was pretty dead trail-wise, strangely enough. That campsite rocked pretty good, too.

They usually are on atv/mx trails. And there not allowed to block off the roads for the event, so we can always get by.
