Truth. Downside to us being honest with intentions. Also, looking at the overhead, 16 and 4 have the most parking space in the area. And then 18/19.

So.... I'll see if I can't work something out with you mike or someone else up near there. But I can help with exploring for some sites, if I didn't plan on trailering my truck I'd bring one of my works porto-shiters. Lol

I've got to apologize - didn't make it out over the weekend; I forgot it was my cousin's retirement party. Probably won't make it this weekend either, I'm in Aberdeen.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
I left a VM for Jahmaal to discuss our plan/options. Still waiting to hear back.

I'll be sure to post up any detail/info. once I get it.

    UPDATE:

Jahmaal called me this afternoon. I let him know we are confirmed for 6/10-6/12 for (about) 10 rigs.

    • Brown's Camp is OPEN CAMPING (first come, first served). He said the camping spots are non-reservable as of now, so we may be able to get our favorite spot.

    • Fire Season is NOT IN EFFECT (yet). He said fires are allowed, as long as we have fire containment equipment (fire extinguishers, water, shovels). He said they usually update the weekly fire reports on Monday, so we can check the website before leaving to make sure it is still not in effect. I let him know we will also have propane stoves for cooking if need be.

    • Dispersed Camping (Lyda area) is allowed, as long as we are not blocking roads/trails. We do not need any special permits or passes for this.

    • He also double-checked the Event Calendar and confirmed there are NO events planned for this weekend (6/10-6/12) at TSF.

So long story short - ALL GOOD NEWS!!!

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Yay team! Thanks for the update, Sir Ben!

I'll try and get out the door early Friday morning early to grab last year's spot at Brown's. I'll even try and remember to bring signage.

Try to grab 2 spots so we can park a few extra rigs and maintain camping rules.

Thanks @Benson X for the update! My cousin may come as just a camper

    OK, he's added.
Apparently there's so much tagging in the first post that the BB code can't figure out how to add tags for his name, lol.

OK all, I managed to get back out there on Friday since we got out of work early for the holiday.

Oh, and yes, there are reservable spots in Brown's Camp:
    IMG_20160527_165327_zpsjepjcypc_29d96f8eea18cfef53e582256b30d4d613afddb2.jpg

HOWEVER, it's only that one spot (spot 24 or something). When entering the camp, we stay in the first loop to the left. If you continue straight, there's this site and about 10 more small sites rowed up further down the road.

Thanks for doing the scouting @Chickenmunga 16 looks really nice. Option B for me would be the dispersed spot near Lyda, but it does kinda suck with the porta shitters being so far away. It's looking like Dark Shark, 05TacomaORE and I will be arriving late morning/early afternoon on Friday.

Option 2 is obviously the lyda spot. I think I can make it a mile if I need to blow up a toilet

I may have to bail at the last minute...the one thing I've been looking forward to all year. :(

Had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand this morning...had to do it the old way where they cut up the palm. Sigh. Hand/arm is all wrapped up until my followup on the 9th.

I suspect that bodes ill for me.

The only upside at this moment is at least it feels like someone else is typing for me...

My cousin just bailed. So I've got an open seat now too. @JoeTacoma02 might be coming along for at least a day, but not sure yet.

Anyone else bringing their kiddos? I plan on bringing my 8yr old and he was curious if there would be other kids because his friend (DarkSharks boy) isn't gonna be able to make it.
