@Boomer04 between 8:30-9:00am is probably a good time. We can meet at the park and ride kennydale. At a party now but lets arrange meet time and place later.

    crap bolted and welded together....
Multiple people camp in one site or two. So splitting the cost of say... $30 for a weekend between 3 people means only $10 per person.

Ohhhh ok. I thought we all had our own “campsites” next to one another. Again, never been camping out there. Only went to browns camp area off-roading once, a month ago...in 2 ft of snow haha

You can do stuff like that in Tahuya where it's a smaller, circular park, but TSF has many dispersed trails with one very long trail in the middle.
Based on how things have gone in the past and the way the trails are laid out, it doesn't work out very well trying to get everyone all the way back to camp for lunch because you get caught in the middle of completing a trail or you might be on the complete other side of camp. IIRC, last year @penguins_cc broke down on the middle/south end of the camp, and it took me 20 minutes of driving access roads to get back to camp to pick up a tool we needed. That slows down when you caravan.
The best way we did it was to get at least one short trail done on Friday so we could get better splits for Saturday. We also used to have more definitive "I want black difficulty minimum" group and a more laid back blue/black group, but now it's more just about being part of a blue/black shennanigans wagon. I used to be super organized with a spreadsheet and placing people with their buddies, but people just ended up filtering into whatever group they felt like on their own.

There should be a link to the TSF website, and from there, there is a map of the campsite. The camp is first come first serve, except for a few spendier group sites that are usually full anyway. We've been lucky in the past, we've only done dispersed once by choice and once because the site we wanted wasn't available.

I think I might actually try and be there Thursday, only so I beat Rob.

    "Luggage"... haha

And speaking of gun, I figured out what was wrong with my AR-15 - the gas block had come loose so there wasn't enough pressure to push the BCG back and eject the brass. Weird too, as I had used Loctite on it. @Chickenmunga - you won't have this issue because you have a free float handguard. Mine has a different style that uses a delta ring spring assembly which exerts force on the gas block. Oops. Oh well, easy fix. I may bring that along again in case the opportunity presents itself again (thanks for last time ha ha). I also just picked up this bad boy and ran a few hundred rounds through it. Shoots really nice.

And right there's an opportunity to say this: if you have tools, bring them. Don't expect others to have what you need in case of a breakdown. The more people with tools the better.

Also, get your CBs and antennas in order. I'll toss my SWR meter in just in case it's needed.

And, bring any/all instant/pop-up canopies...rain gear...propane heaters... Two years ago it was cold and pouring in June. We made our own CanopyCity and got through it. It would have been rough otherwise.

Checked out the different camp sites last night. And that all makes sense; didn’t realize just how big/long the trails are. Sounds like you guys have done this once or twice  lol

So many toys to buy, right? I want to try out an LCP or LCP II. An ankle gun would be really nice sometimes.

    I'm fixed up now
